|On many Tuesday nights, we host Soundings, a forum where a member or friend of our congregation presents something of interest that has to do with the intersection of faith and our daily lives. Soundings is on Tuesdays and begins at 7pm. For more information about the schedule or to be involved, please contact the Church Office. We hope to see you there!
You can find the current season of events on the Christ Church Calendar.
LIVING WITH AN IMPERIALIST
In the enclave of seven small states in the north-east corner of India lies Nagaland, a Christian state. The diary and photographs of a Victorian Englishwoman who walked amongst the villages of the Naga Hills of 1900 provides an insight into a culture largely unchanged for centuries, elements of which are still to be found today. In these online illustrated Soundings, Nigel will take you into the diary and the Nagaland of today.
Date and Time: Tuesday 5 May, 7pm, via Zoom
Speaker: Nigel Shakespear.
